Embodiment + Acceptance
I operate from the perspective that therapy is not about changing ourselves. Rather, therapy is simply creating space for the seemingly dark, fearful, and shameful parts within us. These parts want to be seen and accepted, just as we all do.
In sessions, I encourage clients to allow their bodies and inner wisdom to drive the progression of the therapeutic process. I believe that healing occurs as we gently move towards non-resistance and self-acceptance. This process catalyzes the body’s innate ability to transform emotions, the conscious, and the subconscious mind.
